When we have an event, a starter or finger food that can be eaten hot, cold or lukewarm and is filling enough is always welcome. This is especially important in the hot months, since we do not have the same appetite in summer as in winter and we tend to fill up sooner, and it also saves us from having to spend a lot of time in the kitchen doing many other things.

One starter that meets these requirements is these quinoa and carrot bites which, moreover, are not complicated at all, as you will see throughout the recipe.

On the one hand, quinoa provides complete protein because it contains all the essential amino acids, and energy thanks to its complex carbohydrates which, in addition, have a low glycemic index and keep us feeling full for longer; it also provides omega-3 for the heart, fiber, calcium, magnesium and zinc.

Carrot, for its part, benefits us with its content of carotenes (especially beta-carotene), vitamin C, folic acid, phosphorus and iron.
